Woman accused of killing roommate for reporting her drinking

On May 9, it was reported that a Minnesota woman was accused of murdering one of her roommates after she was allegedly reported for drinking at a sober house. The alleged murder occurred on May 6. Police were told that the woman believed that she was going to be kicked out of the program due to the report that she had been drunk.

Man taken into custody on assault charge

At 2:02 a.m. on April 6, police responded to a call about a possible domestic assault in Brainerd, Minnesota. When police got to the scene of the incident, they said a man inside of the residence turned the lights off and retreated to a back room. Authorities forced their way in to the residence, and the man reportedly complied with police orders.

Man charged with killing mother despite claims of neo-Nazi gang

One Minnesota man is facing murder charges after being accused of killing his mother and then attempting to blame it on a gang of Neo-Nazis. The 25-year-old man from Milaca allegedly stabbed his mother in the family home on March 11, 2018, and then told another man that he found his mother dead in the bedroom. After the other man called the police to report the murder, the 25-year-old claimed that four or five Neo-Nazis had invaded the home and attacked his mother before running into the nearby woods. He claimed that he saw one of the men carrying a double-barreled shotgun.

Man faces murder charges in death of mother

A 34-year-old Minnesota man has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his mother. On Feb. 22 around 7:30 p.m., the man's mother called police to the home they shared. She said he was demanding his medication despite having already taken it and that she was worried because he sometimes became violent. However, police reported that the man did not seem upset.

2 Minnesota men convicted after deadly marijuana deal

The death of a man in May 2017 has resulted in the second-degree murder conviction of a 44-year-old man. After being charged as the shooter in the homicide, the man entered a guilty plea. Another man involved in the death accepted a plea deal for aiding a criminal offender.
